Applied RCN: Academia-Industry Privacy Research Collaborations
This Valentine’s Day, we want to help you find your match: your Academic-Industry applied research match! The Call for Submissions for the Applied Privacy Research Coordination Network (RCN) is now open.
Are you an academic who would like to see your privacy research applied to real-world use cases?
Are you an industry professional who needs help addressing a particular privacy challenge?
If you answered ‘yes’ to either of these questions, please submit a proposal to the form below.
Successful academic applicants will be offered a range of opportunities to share their work, including via direct introductions to relevant collaborators; at conference events and proceedings; in presentations to industry groups, and more. Travel funding and other financial project support may be available. Successful industry applicants will be paired with academics whose expertise is relevant to their research needs.
The Applied Privacy Research Coordination Network (RCN) connects academic researchers with industry practitioners to provide structured networking, research, and working partnership opportunities. By bridging the gap between scholarship and industry practice, the RCN enables academic researchers and corporate practitioners to collaboratively develop and implement best practices and practical tools that make data privacy a priority.
Submissions are due March 1 at 11:59 PM (ET).
