Applied RCN: Support to Attend PEPR

Are you an academic who would like to see your privacy research applied to real-world use cases, and are you looking for travel support to attend the PEPR conference?

The Applied Privacy Research Coordination Network may be able to help!

The Applied Privacy Research Coordination Network (RCN) connects academic researchers, particularly in the applied privacy/privacy engineering space, with industry practitioners to provide structured networking, research, and working partnership opportunities. By bridging the gap between scholarship and industry practice, the RCN enables academic researchers and corporate practitioners to collaboratively develop and implement best practices and practical tools that make data privacy a priority.

This year, travel funding to attend PEPR is one of those opportunities.

Fill out the form below by August 2nd if you would like to be considered.

2019 USENIX Conference on Privacy Engineering Practice and Respect

PEPR is a single-track conference focused on designing and building products and systems with privacy and respect for their users and the societies in which they operate. Our goal is to improve the state of the art and practice of building for privacy and respect and to foster a deeply knowledgeable community of both privacy practitioners and researchers who collaborate towards that goal.

PEPR ’19 will be co-located with the 28th USENIX Security Symposium and will take place on August 12–13, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in Santa Clara, CA, USA.

Support for participation can apply to travel, lodging, and meals related to attendance of the conference.
